When I removed it both leds one red, green were flashing so no connection, but as far can tell the unit powered up and should work fine. These seem to average from 18 used and range up new, depending on model condition.

You are buying on a Goldstar S1000-N gps locator. This was installed in my truck by the former owner. This comes with the pre-install harness and does not have bod-ii pass through. As I have no way of testing you are buying as-is, but again reason to believe this would not work for.
