This unit has only been used a handful of times until I was no longer able to travel or hike long distances alone.

This a perfect safety device, whether you are out and about alone or with others. All manuals and original box included - has some wear on the corners from being put away when device not in use. I figured my AAA would not be able to find me if as off the beaten path, but this will.

I also used it when hiking in back country because cell phone service is often out of reach.

The OK button let's contacts know where you are and that you're. But is completely optional.
